Bee Print, 4th Color

Feb29

Added a reddish violet last night, with these results:

Tom carved away all the parts that were to remain blue-green (the third color) in the print, then inked the block with a reddish violet, and printed over the top of all the other colors on each print.

Bee Print, Third Color

Feb27

It’s starting to look like a bee!

Tom carved away everything from the block that he wanted to remain light blue.  Then he inked the block with blue-green and printed again, over the top of the first two colors on the print.

This is actually an Argyle Ice Bee as described in various places in Circuitous Route.
